"For When You Can’t Let It Burn"
The Spartanburg Pruitt Protocol
A coordinated, trainable system that contains heat, protects exposures, and cools the pack for a safer, transport-ready handoff.
Electric vehicles change the incident, not the mission. When letting it burn isn’t possible, our EV response combines use of the Toxic Tarp Fire Security Blankets along with our SUDZ-IT EV Nozzles inside the SPP Protocol.
The Result: disciplined control of heat and hazards with clear steps your crews can train, repeat, and document.

Electric Vehicle Nozzles
Electric vehicle (EV) fires caused by lithium-ion thermal runaway create extreme hazards that standard firefighting equipment cannot effectively address. Toxic Suppression’s line of EV Fire Suppression Nozzles is engineered specifically for these incidents, giving firefighters a proven method to cool and contain EV fires quickly.
The Original SUDZ-IT EV Utility Nozzle
Our Original SUDZ-IT EV Utility Nozzle is the first multifunction nozzle of its kind, purpose-built for the unique challenges of EV fire response.
-
Under-Vehicle Cooling: Designed to be positioned beneath a vehicle, it produces a wide, saturating spray pattern that rapidly cools the underside where battery packs are most vulnerable.
-
Water Curtain Head: A unique feature of the SUDZ-IT nozzle is its integrated water curtain, which provides a protective shield for firefighters during deployment and maintains a continuous spray on the Toxic Tarp Fire Suppression Blanket, enhancing cooling and reducing ignition risks.
-
Utility Kit Configurations: When purchased with the Utility Kit, the SUDZ-IT nozzle transforms into multiple specialized tools—including a car door hanging nozzle, decontamination shower head, as well as cockloft, attic, and cellar nozzles—making it one of the most versatile firefighting nozzles available.

with Utility Kit - Maximum Versatility, One Solution
The SUDZ-IT EV Utility Nozzle is engineered for adaptability, giving fire departments one compact tool with unlimited applications. Designed for today’s evolving fireground challenges, this nozzle converts seamlessly into a door-hang kit, decontamination shower head, and specialized cockloft/attic/cellar nozzle—eliminating the need for multiple single-purpose tools.
Trusted by departments facing everything from high-risk EV incidents to traditional fire suppression, the SUDZ-IT EV Utility Nozzle provides unmatched flexibility across a wide range of operations:
The SUDZ-IT EV Utility Nozzle can also be used
in the following applications:
-
Electric Vehicle fires – precise cooling during thermal runaway
-
Traditional engine fires – effective water application in conventional incidents
-
Pallet fires – wide spray coverage for industrial and warehouse environments
-
Cooling LP tanks – continuous water curtain for exposure protection
-
Ammonia and Toxic Gas Leaks – Large spray pattern that helps knock down and absorb escaping vapors, protecting firefighters and bystanders while buying time for containment.
-
Decon shower head – safe, controlled rinsing after hazmat or fire scenes
-
Overhauling furniture – efficient saturation to eliminate hidden hot spots
-
Wetting fire breaks – critical for wildland/urban interface operations
-
Tight area overhauls – adaptable nozzle head for confined space suppression
By combining multi-function capability, rugged construction, and proven fireground performance, the SUDZ-IT EV Utility Nozzle delivers maximum value in one kit—reducing equipment clutter while increasing operational readiness.

Larger Flow Options for Higher GPM
For departments that face larger vehicles and high-demand incidents—including electric buses, trucks, and heavy equipment—Toxic Suppression offers two powerful nozzle upgrades engineered for maximum water delivery:
-
Trident 250 – Built for medium-to-large EV applications, the Trident 250 delivers a strong, steady stream with up to 250 GPM output, making it ideal for departments that want more suppression power without sacrificing mobility and deployment speed.
-
Big Water “Gushmaster” 500 – When only overwhelming water flow will do, the Gushmaster 500 pushes up to 500 GPM for wide-area saturation. Designed for the toughest lithium-ion fire scenarios, it’s the solution for transit authorities, industrial sites, shipping yards, and large-scale municipal departments facing electric buses, heavy trucks, or energy storage hazards.
Both the Trident 250 and Big Water 500 are engineered to integrate seamlessly with the SPP Protocol and pair with the Toxic Tarp Fire Suppression Blanket, giving fire departments scalable power when “you can’t just let it burn.”

Toxic Tarp EV Fire Security Blankets
Control heat, protect exposures, and stabilize the incident, when you can’t let it burn.
Toxic Tarp EV fire security blankets are engineered for lithium-ion events where temperature, toxic vapors, and re-ignition risk must be contained. Deployed as part of the Spartanburg-Pruitt Protocol, they work in concert with the SUDZ-IT EV Utility Nozzle to confine heat, reduce the chance of re-ignition, and support a safe, transport-ready handoff.
Built for rapid, repeatable deployment.
Each blanket uses a 20′ × 26′ footprint with reinforced seams, color-coded offset handles for confident placement, and oversized grommets for anchoring or perimeter control. The form factor speeds correct positioning over the vehicle while minimizing crew exposure and disruption to operations.
From parking structures and charging depots to tow/storage lots, tunnels, bridges, ferries, and public events, Toxic Tarp blankets help agencies protect people and property while cooling and recovery are underway.
